A Woman's Touch: Mission Work Begins at Home Schedule

Thank you for your interest in joining one of our Project Teams!

Mission begins at home with "A Woman's Touch" - a week of mission work right here at home during the week of July 21 - 25.  By the end of the week, POP will "POP!" with a new look!

The following is a schedule of when each project team will be meeting.  We understand that no one will be able to make all of these project times.  Join us during the times that are most convenient for you and enjoy being part of Mission Week 2008!

We always look for ways to serve others.  Currently we support:

Habitat for Humanity Pickerington Food Pantry
Mid-Ohio Food Bank Faith Mission
Buckhorn Children's Center MS Walk
Red Cross blood drives Church workdays
Nursing home services Disaster relief and other offerings
Summer mission trip for youth and adults POP Community Center for the Arts
Missionary to India
Girl Scouts, Mom's Club and other groups use our facilities

Mid-Ohio Food Bank

Four times a year volunteers from Prince of Peace travel across town to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank to sort and pack boxes of food for food pantries and feeding centers across central Ohio.  The carpool of volunteers departs from the church at 5:00 PM or volunteers may meet us at the Food Bank on Mound Street west of the Clippers Stadium.  It's messy work, so dress accordingly; but, we always have fun and it is a very worthwhile ministry.  If you have any questions, please talk with the Mission Committee.
