Our Church Family
Organized by the Presbytery of Scioto Valley in 1983,
we moved to our present building and location in
February 1991. Members come from a variety of
religious backgrounds and denominations. A 10
member Session (one of which is youth) elected by the
congregation leads the church. We affirm women and
men equally as called to leadership positions in the
church. Jeff Myers has been our second installed
pastor since 2001.
We are a small but growing congregation committed to
reaching out beyond our walls in ministry. Our
common life is guided by scripture and rooted in faith
in Jesus as Lord. We welcome people of all ages,
races and conditions. We are open to new ideas and
opportunities for programs and mission. Creativity is
celebrated!
We invite you to join us in the
celebration of the good news of Jesus Christ and to
participate in the life of His church at Prince of
Peace!

Beginning with the April 2011 newsletter, we will be
emailing it to you if you have an email. It
will be sent in PDF format (you can get Adobe Reader
free on the Internet). The high cost of postage,
paper and time spent putting it together each month is
getting very costly. If you want a printed
copy, please notify the church secretary at
popsecretary@sbcglobal.net and one will be
sent to you. |
