Youth
Worship
Seeing our youth join us in
worship services is one of our greatest joys! It
is a very special moment for all of us within our church
family to witness the spiritual growth of our youngest
family members. And being part of their lives,
allowing them to see us worship and join in fellowship
with one another, is one of the greatest gifts we can
give to them. For this reason, Youth Worship is an
important part of the church life at POP.
Immediately following Children's Moment, youth are
invited to participate in ...
Preschool Worship
Pre-School along with a
Pre-School Worship are offered during the church
services. Pre-Schoolers are supervised by
volunteer parents and older youth and enjoy a number of
activities, games and play.
Youth
Worship K - 5
Youth Worship service are
held in our Christian Education Center and lead by older
youth and / or parents. During the service our youth
participate in a "younger" version of the POP Worship
Services and enjoy the opportunity to explore their own
spirituality while learning all of the traditions of the
Worship Service.
Youth
Grades 6 and Above
POP Youth grades 6 and above
participate in the Adult Worship Service. Sharing
in the responsibilities of the Worship Service by
serving as Acolyte, Lay Readers, Choir Members and even
Worship Leaders at times.
Special Services
Lord's Supper
We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday
of each month. The table is open to all
believers in Christ as Lord and Savior. The Lord's
Supper is celebrated at other times of the year as well,
such as Christmas Eve and Maundy Thursday.
Church Holidays
We have services on Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve
and join our sisters and brothers from other churches
for Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Thanksgiving and other
special events.
